‘A View to a Kill’ Bond Girl Superstar Tanya Roberts dies at 65

Los Angeles. Actress Tanya Roberts, who played Stacey Sauton alongside Roger Moore in the 1985 James Bond film A View to a Kill, died at the age of 65. The Hollywood Reporter first reported that Roberts, who starred in the ‘That’s 70s’ show, collapsed on Christmas Eve after walking back with his dogs.

Tanya Roberts was admitted to Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, where she died on Sunday, January 3. No cause of death has yet been given, but THR also stated that he has not died of COVID-19 and that no signs of illness were seen in the days following Roberts’ fall.

His longtime friend and spokesman Mike Pingle released a statement shortly after this news. He has written- ‘I am devastated. She was magnificent and beautiful and I think a light has been taken away. To say that she was an angel would top the list. Of all the people I have met so far, she was the most beloved person and had a big heart. She loved her fans, and I don’t think they realized how much she meant to them. ‘

Victoria Leg Blum aka Roberts was born and started her career as a model before making her debut with the 1975 horror film ‘Forced Entry’. Subsequently, she appeared in several cult films such as ‘Sheena: Queen of the Jungle’, a 1982 female-led adaptation of the classic Tarzan story and the fantasy drama ‘The Beastmaster’.Roberts played her most famous role in the 1985 Gem Bond film ‘A View to a Kill’. She played the role of Stacy Sutton, an American scientist who is targeted by Kristen Walken, who plays the villain Max Zorin. The film was Roger Moore’s last 007 movie.
