The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to postpone the Class 10 exams to be held from the first week of June. The government informed the High Court that it was hearing a petition filed by some parents seeking cancellation of Class 10 exams in view of the prevalence of coronovirus.
The government has always stood firm and insisted that it will pursue the examinations “to protect the future of the students”. When the petition came up for hearing in the High Court, the government changed its stand and said that it was postponing the examinations.
The government informed the court, “We will review the situation again in July and take a decision.” The court has fixed June 18 for the next hearing on the case.
Let us tell you, many states including CBSE have postponed the 10th exam in view of Corona virus. At the same time, students of class 12 are demanding to cancel the examination. However, the final decision is yet to come from the government.
