Art director of ‘Disco Dancer’ Maruthirao Kale dies, died of corona virus

Now the news is coming that the famous art director of the film industry Maruthirao V Kale Has died due to corona virus. Maruthirao Kale was 92 years old and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai due to COVID-19 infection. Maruthi Rao did art direction and set designing work in more than 100 films.

Maruthirao Kale had done set designing work in famous films like ‘Saudagar’, ‘Disco Dancer’, ‘Kasam Pande Wale Ki’, ‘Commando’, ‘Ajooba’, ‘Iman Dharam’ as an art director. Apart from this, he also worked as a carpenter in preparing the sets of the famous film ‘Mughal-e-Azam’.

Talking to a news channel, Maruthi Rao’s daughter Kalpana told that her father was diagnosed with corona infection on 7 May. After this he was admitted to Holy Family Hospital. Maruthirao Kale died on the night of 26 May during treatment.
