Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday demanded to buy Pfizer’s Kovid-19 vaccine at the earliest to vaccinate the children. He made this demand when earlier the American pharmaceutical company demanded the approval of his vaccines in India as soon as possible. Sources had told that the American company told the Indian authorities that its vaccine is suitable for people in the age group of 12 years or more and that it can be stored for two to eight degrees a month.
CM Kejriwal tweeted, citing a news that the company will soon approve it, “We should buy this vaccine for our children as soon as possible”. Has been requesting the Central Government to find suitable alternatives to vaccines, citing the fear of experts having an impact on children.
The Delhi government also suggested to the Center that students and teachers be vaccinated if they decide to conduct 12th class board exams.
Pfizer recently held talks with Indian government officials. It has offered five crore doses of vaccines between July and October.
