Best Bollywood Movies on Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime proceeds to frequently provide its customers with new, classic Bollywood entertainment. There are a few movies you can opt to cruising in the giant library from the latest hit films like Thappad and Gullyboy.

The cinema of Bollywood stands high among its peers in more than one way. The best in Bollywood is almost impossible with infinite libraries on OTT platforms. And while the taste of everyone is different, many of these movies can be found in the list of Best Bollywood films below. This list includes some of the best 12 Bollywood movies movies which you can watch right now on Amazon Prime video. So, Let’s begins!

1. SHOLAY

A vital part of Bolllywood, the iconic status of Sholay in India is just a justification for you to see Sholay on nearly every post. a Sholay is always the best reply to India for the Nice, Bad and Nasty, with Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Amjad Khan, Hema Malini and Sanjeev Kapoor. A classic from the west who deals with the dacoit who just torses a nearby village with two men to rise up and fight against him. Sholay is full of classic interactions and scenes our parents will always like and it has a specific place in the history of Bollywood.

 2. Kal Ho Naa Ho

The film tells the storey of a nerdy girl named Naina who resides in New York. All is not so well with her family until they come across this initially irritating guy named Aman who turns out to be an angel. Saif Ali Khan gives the laid back, but grateful, fortunate man named Rohit a magnificent performance. Look for a traditional dysfunctional family drama which would later become a love storey in Bollywood. Find out the scene with the goosebumps!

 3. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

The movie is directed by Luv Ranjan who has been introducing to us two of the funniest comedies of recent years: the leading roles of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and the stars of Ranjan, Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh, and Nushrat Bharucha. All in all, this is no bad picture, you can appreciate few good laughs, peppy songs, and fun acting, but it struggled in some important aspects as an ultimate film.

  4. Om Shanti Om

Om Shanti Om is an essential “Bollywood” film that seems to only be a Masala popcorn with crazy eccentricities. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in 2007 as Om, an young actor who dies deliberately fires her after she is murdered by the actress he loves (Deepika Padukone). You accurately read, reincarnated — he must eventually return to the original death of Om as a good actor similar to Om. It’s a new callback to earlier Indian films and will definitely keep you amused from the start to the finish.

 5. Patiala House

This film is considered to unite families in India. The joy is compounded as Cricket is the primary aspect for an Indian family diaspora drama. Nikhil Advani’s Patiala House is an unauthorised or inspirational biopic of Monty Panesar, the English spinner. The film inevitably uses several slow motion shots, but feelings are added. The film digs into the lives of a boy who is oppressed and wishes to play for England. But his faithful Indian father suppresses his ego’s fantasies. The film features several cricket scenes, and I love how Akshay Kumar’s lead character purifies Gibbs.

 6. 3 IDIOTS

One of Bollywood’s most successful movies ever, 3 Idiots, is the sweet spot between commercial and critical success. Driven by Rajkumar Hirani, 3 diodes are the most warm-hearted means of nostalgia and self-discovery. Two men visit Ladakh to locate a friend who has played a major role in college life but since then has lost touch. On the road, they recall all the wild moments when they made the storey of friendships a very well-woven one. 3 Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor are the stars of the Idiots.

7. Raazi

Raazi is a spy thriller and is one of my most awaited films from 2018, directed by Meghna Gulzar and with Alia Bhatt as leading figure. The plot of the film follows a 20-year-old college-going girl, Sehmat (Alia Bhatt), who was tutored and turned into an Indian Spy and was consigned to investigate the Pakistani army family at the time of the Indo-Pakistani War in 1971.

Sehmat is married to the youngest son in the household, Iqbal (Vicky Kaushal) and travels to Pakistan to carry out her risky mission. Raazi is a thriller and an outstanding showcase of one of the unsung heroes of the Indo-Pakistan War, Sehmat. It definitely had a few problems, but I had a exciting experience watching the movie, and Alia Bhatt steals the spotlight as normal.

 8. GULLY BOY

It is the second film of Zoya Akthar, that I am listed, and definitely will not be the last. Gully Boy tells the storey of Murad, a Dharavi boy who dream to become a musician, who stirs Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Gully Boy is a very enjoyable time, thanks to his hard journey and his music channelling him. During the presentation of the episode, Ranveer and Alia is the support cast for Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Verma and Amrutha Subash.

 9. THAPPAD

Thappad is without a doubt the best Hindi film so far in 2020. Tapsee Pannu heads the business and Thappad ‘s patriarchal routines are like a mirror of society that spans the entire class. Others are plain as the light of day, while some are subtle, but each is equally evil, and Director Anubhav Sinha has struck a fine balance in realistic narrative rather than divulging in preaching. The performance of Tapsee Pannu is exceptional as are the parents of Ratna Pathak Shah and Kumud Mishra.

10. ROCK ON

Rock on was a surprise when it first aired, one of my favoured Bollywood movies. Rock on was Bollywood’s first feature, a movie that explored new territories. In this beautiful film about Magik, a rock band that collapsed just one last year later because of the artistic differences, stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, and Prachi Desai. Rock on makes a very good view of the Amazon Prime Video, with fantastic music and some strong scenes.

11. Trapped

Award winning, survival drama about a guy who is trapped without water , food, electricity or any way to get in touch without someone else’s attention in his apartment. Trapped It’s not because of the horror that a human will fill with this film’s faint heart. We all have encountered elements of what happens to this feature and makes it all the more connected (locked off without keys, lack of water and food, discharged phone batteries, and insulation). It’s a film that might easily have been over the top, but Rajkummar Rao is one of her greatest performances.

12. Hera Pheri

Hera Pheri is one of the classics that makes everyone’s eyes twinkle. It’s great, we all remember. Starting with Paresh Rawal, whose performance and comedy were phenomenal, he deserved more praise. His performance helped to distinguish himself from anyone else. Everybody applauded his stint and caper. Priyadarshan – the director, has managed to squeeze both actors’ best performances. Even if you’ve seen Hera Pheri before, it will still produce the same magic and a strong revision factor. One of Amazon Prime’s favourite movies of Bollywood.
