Bhandara Hospital Tragedy: PM Modi expressed grief over the death of 10 newborns, CM Uddhav Thackeray ordered an inquiry

Bhandara Hospital Tragedy: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has expressed grief over this incident. He consoled the families of the deceased children through a tweet. The Home Minister wrote, ‘The incident of arson in Bhandara District Hospital is very unfortunate.
CM Uddhav Thackeray spoke to Health Minister Rajesh Tope as well as Bhandara District Collector and SP on Saturday. According to the news agency ANI, the Chief Minister’s Office has informed that CM Thackeray has ordered an inquiry regarding the fire in the District General Hospital. According to media reports, this fire has happened due to short circuit in the hospital.
At the same time, the Health Minister has announced a grant of Rs 5 lakh to the parents of the children killed in this accident.

PM Modi wrote, In the heartbreaking incident in Bhandara, Maharashtra, we lost the precious life of the newborn. I wish to console the families of the dead and for the early recovery of the injured. At the same time, the Home Minister wrote, ‘The incident of arson in Bhandara District Hospital is very unfortunate. I am sad beyond words, my condolences to the bereaved families. May God give them the strength to face this hour of grief.

A fire broke out at the District General Hospital in Maharashtra’s Bhandara District General Hospital on Friday and Saturday, due to which 10 newborns (child Killed in Fire) died in the incident at Sick Newborn Care Unit. This incident happened late at around 2 pm. The nurse on duty first came to know about the fire in the ward. During this time only 7 out of 17 babies could be saved.
According to media reports, the cause of this fire in the hospital is being attributed to a short circuit. During the incident, smoke appeared from the out-of-barn unit of the district government hospital last night. When the nurse present opened the door, there was a fire and there was a huge smoke coming out. The sleeping officers were informed, rescue operations started with the help of fire brigade and common people.
