Corona Vaccine Update: Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said – 30 million people need high speed campaign to apply vaccine

New Delhi. Preparations for the Corona Vaccine have intensified to deal with the Corona Virus epidemic. The government has planned to vaccinate the first 30 crore beneficiaries in the country. On this, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has said on Saturday that a fast vaccine campaign is needed to accomplish this goal. Harshvardhan was presiding over the 22nd meeting of the GOM on Kovid-19 on Saturday. He addressed the meeting through video-conference.

This meeting of the GoM took place on a day when the total number of infections from the corona virus in the country exceeded one crore. He said, “The growth rate of the Kovid-19 epidemic in India has fallen to two percent and the death rate is the lowest in the world at 1.45 percent.” Harshvardhan said, “The recovery rate of patients in India has been 95.46 percent. However, with the strategy of testing one million samples, the positivity rate has come down to 6.25 percent.

According to a statement issued by the Union Health Ministry, he said that despite festivals in October and November, there was no new upsurge in cases due to the policy of extensive testing, monitoring and treatment. He appealed to the people to maintain proper kovid behavior. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State for Health Ashwani Kumar Choubey and Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai also attended the meeting.

Singh, director of NCDC, presented a detailed report on how data-based government policies helped India gain significant control over the epidemic.

He also presented statistics regarding the total Kovid-19 units in the country. According to this, there are a total of 15,359 such units while there are more than 1.5 million isolation beds, 2.70 lakh oxygen facility beds, 80,727 ICU beds and 40,575 ventilators. Paul informed the GOM about three important aspects of vaccination in a detailed presentation. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has said that to control the epidemic, it is necessary to follow the rules related to health among a population.
