Monoclonal antibody cocktail has been the first successful treatment in India. The patient is discharged from the hospital a day after he was given a dose of monoclonal antibody cocktail at a hospital in Gurgaon. Dr. Naresh Trehan, president of the hospital, said that an 82-year-old man was suffering from various diseases. He has been discharged after giving him a dose in Medanta Hospital. Monoclonal antibodies mimic the immune system’s ability to fight harmful pathogenic viruses. Such an antibody cocktail was given to former US President Donald Trump when he was infected with Corona.

Trehan told news agency ANI that monoclonal antibody cocktails have been used extensively in the US and Europe. Trehan said, “In the first seven days of (Kovid) infection, 70-80 percent of the people who needed the hospital for treatment would not need to be admitted to the hospital after being given this cocktail.”

Doctor Satya Prakash Yadav of Medanta Hospital tweeted, “The monoclonal antibody cocktail is finally available in the market for treatment of corona. The 84-year-old Kovid-infected patient has been treated today. Hopefully more COVID-19 patients Will help fix it. “

Dr. Trehan said that after treatment with monoclonal antibody cocktail, the patient who went home will be monitored.
