The Gennova Vaccine clinical trial approved this week will be a mRNA technology-based vaccine. It can be placed on a normal temperature. Gennova may start vaccine trials after DCGI approval. Earlier, Bharat Biotech and Serum Institute (Serum Institute) The vaccine is also waiting for use. In total, there will now be three indigenous vaccines. However, the request for the three vaccines approved by the drug controller has not been decided yet. Data has been sought from all three companies.
Side effect monitoring system
Health, NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul says that if the vaccine has side effects, then how and where to report it has also been decided. The vaccine company also monitors the new drug or injection. The same will happen in the case of Coronavirus vaccine. Apart from this, Adverse Effect Monitoring System will be made at the block level to tell the side effects.
Large scale preparation for vaccination
Corona vaccine (Coronavirus Vaccine) The Government of India has prepared extensively for vaccination. 23 ministries and departments will complete the work of getting the vaccine together. There will be 29000 cold chain points during vaccination. There will be 45,000 ice-lined refrigerators. Apart from this, there will be 300 solar refrigerators.
The Health Ministry also reviewed the steps taken by the states in the fight against Corona. The work of Delhi has been found satisfactory in this. The Health Ministry has praised the efforts made by the Delhi government to curb the corona epidemic but expressed concern over the situation in Uttarakhand and Nagaland.
