Experts claim – second wave of corona in the country is difficult, 90 percent of cases estimated to be missing
New Delhi. There are more than 1 crore cases of Coronavirus In India in the country. However, scientists hope that no other wave will come in the country at the moment. It is being said that 60 percent of the people of the country have been infected, there is no sign of the second wave. The Indian government’s expert group says that by February 2021, the infection will be stable and only around 20,000 active cases will be left. This claim has been made by a group of experts.
The team includes expert doctors Gagandeep Kang, IIT Hyderabad Professor Vidyasagar, IIS professor Biman Bagchi, IIT Kanpur professor Manindra Aggarwal, Indian Statistical Institute’s Shankar Pal, Arup Bose.
Missing cases are also high where recovery rate is highest!
The team claimed in its study that there are more missing cases of infection in the country. Due to high number of missing goods, there is a decrease in surveillance, mainly due to decrease in follow-up of antigen investigation. The team has claimed that 85 to 90 per cent of cases in the country are estimated to be missing. It is claimed that where the recovery rate is the highest, the missing cases are also high. This team of experts says that on the one hand where there are more cases of missing infections in India, on the other hand its number is less in foreign countries. In countries like Europe, America and Italy, the percentage of missing patients on 1 corona patient is 10 to 12. At the same time, in France, Brazil and Germany, 20-25 per cent cases are missing on every Kovid patient.
This team of experts expresses their assumptions on mathematical models. Dr. Raman Gangakhedkar, who was an epidemiologist at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), said that nothing can be made clear about the status of infection by taking mathematical models as the basis.
