In one video, Govinda is seen giving a fun expression to the song along with his wife Sunita, while in the second video he is seen dancing with choreographer Ganesh Acharya on the song ‘Husn Hai Suhana’ from Coolie No.1. Kapil Sharma and Shakti Kapoor also reached this party.

Debut in 1986

Govinda made his Bollywood debut in the 1986 film Iljam. After this he did not look back and gave more than one hit movies. Her popularity was at its peak in the 90s when she produced ‘Raja Babu’ (1994), ‘Coolie No.1’ (1997), Dulhe Raja (1998), ‘Bade Mian Chhoti Mian’ (1998) and ‘Hasina Maan Jaagi’ ( 1999).

Govinda’s bad phase started since 2000. He tried to make a comeback with films like ‘Bhagam Bhaag’ (2006), ‘Partner’ (2007). Govinda’s previous film was ‘Rangeela Raja’ which was badly beaten at the box office.

Childhood spent in poverty

Govinda was born to actor couple. His father Arun Ahuja had quit the industry after working in nearly 40 films. At the same time, Govinda’s mother Nirmala Devi was a well-known classical singer and actress. Despite this, Govinda’s childhood was spent in poverty and he had to struggle a lot. In fact, before Govinda’s birth, his father’s sinking film career took the entire family on the path of ruin.

When Govinda grew up due to poor economic condition of the house, he sold a lot of papad to get a job. Once after completing his graduation in commerce, he went to interview Stewart’s job at Hotel Taj in Mumbai but he did not get this job. Govinda had told – I did not get this job because I could not speak English. I did not speak English in the interview.
