Actor Rahul Roy has been discharged from Wockhardt Hospital on Mira Road. They have returned to their homes. Information about this, Rahul himself has shared some photos on social media on Thursday. In the photos, Rahul can be seen with his sister Priyanka and brother in law Romir Sen. His brother Rohit Roy is also seen in another photo. Rahul had a brain stroke about 1.5 months ago.
Rahul shared the photo and wrote, “I am back home after a long treatment in the hospital. I am recovering. However, I still have a long way to go to recover fully. Thank you, who stood by me during this period. Rohit my brother, my sister and my best friend Priyanka, my brother-in-law Romer, my friend Aditi Govitrikar, Dr. Huj, Zahid, Ashwini Kumar, Azhar, Shruti Dwivedi, Suchitra Pillai and all my fans who prayed for me. Rahul will continue physio and speech therapy at home
Rahul’s brother in law Romir Sen told that, he is very happy to come back home. Although he will continue to have physio and speech therapy at home as well. It will take some time, but he is expected to recover fully in 6-7 months. ”Prior to Wockhardt Hospital, Rahul was admitted to Nanavati Hospital from where he was discharged on 8 December.
Rahul had a brain stroke during shooting
In November 2020, 52-year-old Rahul Roy was shooting the film ‘LAC -Live The Battle’ based on Galvan Valley in Kargil’s minus 12 degree temperature. During this time he had a brain stroke. He was rushed to a hospital in Srinagar after suffering a brain stroke. Then he was airlifted from Srinagar for treatment and admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. He also stayed in ICU for a few days.
