Mumbai. The 49-year-old Imtiaz Ali, who has directed films like Jab We Met, Rockstar and Love Aaj Kal, has announced that he is a local for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Workshops so that the youth can get a chance to showcase their talent. The Bollywood director, who has experience of shooting in Jammu and Kashmir, has shown keen interest in making films using local artists, local themes, music, arts and venues. He believes that the positivity in Jammu and Kashmir is overwhelming and his creative skills are unmatched. For this, he has also met Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha.
Imtiaz Ali told reporters while speaking in Jammu that we are making creative plans and the aim is to give a platform to the local youth so that they get a chance to showcase their talent. I will get an opportunity to work with them, learn from them.
He told that these workshops will be for musicians, dancers, singers and artisans. Along with this, special attention will be paid to local musical instruments. He said that there is no shortage of talent here. He said that I have brought a lot of hope here. The youth of Jammu and Kashmir have to understand that to make themselves powerful and for the betterment of their people, they have to take initiative. Ali further stated that he is absolutely convinced that old, traditional folklore offers a lot of stories that can be translated into the best cinematic productions. The Bollywood director said that the youth will have to come forward to make their abilities in front of the world.
Let me tell you that film maker Imtiaz Ali is going to make a film on Radha Krishna very soon. Imtiaz will write the script of a film based on the eternal love story of Radha Krishna and will direct its own.
