Emphasis placed on menstrual hygiene in post
Jennifer Winget has also written a long post with this photo. Jennifer Winget wrote, ‘It is a difficult time. Use your voice. Period. I want to draw the attention of all of you to #reddotchallenge whose aim is to pay attention to virtual hygiene (cleanliness during periods). In this difficult time of Corona epidemic, we should focus on taking care of ourselves and others.
Cleanliness is very important
Many problems arise in the mind as soon as you hear the word ‘Pariyads’. Women have to face troubles like heavy flow, abdominal and back pain, swelling and depression. These problems can be alleviated with the help of a doctor, but one thing that needs attention is cleanliness during menstrual hygiene, and Jennifer has emphasized the same thing in her post.
‘End stigma and shame associated with periods’
Jennifer Winget further wrote, ‘I stand with @ post.for.change @unicefindia @diipakhosla and swear that I will be safe and make sure that others are safe too. From today (26 May) to 28 May, all of you stand with me for the safety of girls around the world and eliminate the spots or shame associated with periods. Taking this initiative forward, post a photo by taking a black and white photo of yourself in a mask and putting a red dot on your palm.
Talking about the professional front, Jennifer Winget appeared in ‘Beyhadh 2’ in the year 2020, but was discontinued due to the lockdown.
