Neena Gupta’s autobiography reads, ‘As my delivery date was getting closer, I started worrying because there was little money in my account. I could get the child’s natural birth only because it could cost 2000 rupees. But I knew that if I had to have a C-section, I would be in trouble because the cost of the surgery was around Rs 10,000. ‘
The autobiography further states, ‘Luckily a few days before my delivery, I received 9000 tax reimbursements and finally got a balance of 12000 rupees in my bank account. Good thing that the money has come because my doctor told me that I will have the delivery of C section. My father who came down to help me at birth was angry.
