First reprimand and now praise. A few days ago the Allahabad High Court had declared UP’s health system as Ram Bharosa. Now the High Court has said that the steps taken by the Yogi government to treat corona are good. The court expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by the state government amid Corona infection.
A bench of Justices Siddharth Verma and Justice Ajit Kumar praised the Yogi government for Kovid Management during a hearing on a PIL filed for the treatment of corona in the state. The court observed the report given by the state government, though did not make any order. Instructed to set a date for the hearing in the second week of June.
Court saw the report of 5 districts
The court took cognizance of the report filed by the state government regarding medical facilities available in Bahraich, Shravasti, Bijnor, Barabanki and Jaunpur districts. The court then said that some of the steps taken by the Yogi government regarding health facilities are praiseworthy.
The court has asked for filing of progress report on the medical facilities of five more districts Bhadohi, Ghazipur, Ballia, Deoria and Shamli on the next date of hearing.
Yogi government fixed test rates
The court expressed special satisfaction with the government’s initiative to determine the rates of RTPCR, antigens, trunet tests and CT scans. Recently the rates of all tests were fixed by the government. The rate of RTPCR has been fixed by the government for between 500 and 900 rupees, antigen test 200 rupees, trunet test 1200 rupees, and CT scan 2000 to 2500 rupees.
