Chitrangada Singh is a strict actress, and has won the hearts of fans with her own acting. His next film is ‘Bob Biswas’ in which he will be seen opposite Abhishek Bachchan. In a recent interview, Chitrangada Singh told how ragging in college changed her life and she reached the world of acting. Chitrangada Singh revealed, ‘My modeling journey started with a ragging session during my first year in college. We were asked to wear the salwar kameez upside down, the hair was oiled, and the books in the bucket and we were asked to walk the ramp. Officially this was my first modeling audition. Obviously I did very well, and then became part of the college fashion team.
Chitrangada Singh further stated, ‘I came to know of some more girls who were into modeling, and I got my portfolio shot. The photos were circulated and I came in the eyes of the people. Finally I got an audition for an advertisement, but I was rejected. Luckily, Gulzar saheb saw that audition, and I acted in his music video called ‘Sunset Point’, which his daughter Meghna was producing. Then, someone saw me in that particular video and then I got an opportunity to audition for ‘Thousands of Khwaishein Aisi’.
When Chitrangada Singh was asked what was most important for him to work in a project, he revealed, ‘For me, it is the director’s hand. How it is written on paper how it is translated on screen – the director is the person standing between them, and even though the role matters to an extent, the director is the most important factor for me.
When asked about the directors with whom she would like to work, Chitrangada Singh said that she will work with Sudhir Mishra, who has given her the opportunity to play the best role. Vishal Bhardwaj, Anand L. Rai, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mirjapur director Gurmeet Singh would also like to work together.
