Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Ravan’ statement, ‘Adipurush’ writer gave clarification, said – ‘He misunderstood’

Mumbai. Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is going to be seen in the role of Lankesh i.e. ‘Raavan’ in the film ‘Adipurush’, Saif got caught up in controversies even before the film came out. While glorifying ‘Ravan’, he made such a statement that he came under target of the people, although he apologized for his statement. Now in this case, the writer of the film Manoj Muntashir gave clarification. He has said that there is nothing in this film that makes people feel bad. He said, Saif Ali Khan has misunderstood something in this.

The writer of the film Manoj Muntashir spoke to a news portal recently. He told that every aspect of ‘Ravana’ will be shown in the film. He will be portrayed as a flamboyant king, who was also cruel and tragic. He said that ‘Ravana’ believed that he was more powerful than Rama.

Talking about Saif Ali Khan, he said that Saif’s character in Adipurush is very similar to ‘Ravana’. He said that Ravana is considered as a black person, but in the film he will appear in all his colors. Manoj further said that Ravana believed that he was more powerful than Rama and could never think why Sita could not fall in love with him.

About Saif playing the role of Ravana in the film, the writer-songwriter said that he is a thinking actor and asks questions to understand his role better. Manoj also revealed that Saif’s stature would be stretched to eight or nine feet, using special effects to portray his larger-than-life life. Let us tell you that ‘Adipurush’ is a man built on Lord Rama. There is a film in which Saif’s character is very similar to Ravana’s. The prosecutor has said that in an interview given to the media on December 6, the actor had said that since Ravana’s sister Surpanakha had her nose cut by the symptoms, Ravana’s abduction of Sita is justified.
