Mumbai. Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor will soon appear as a cricketer on the big screen. He has recently completed shooting for ‘Jersey’. After Jersey, Shahid will soon be seen in the role of ‘Karna’, the iconic character of Mahabharata. Bollywood’s ‘Kabir Singh’ has joined hands with noted Bollywood director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra (Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra) for his next project.

Shahid Kapoor is going to do a big experiment in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s film Mahabharata. He has joined hands with ‘Rang De Basanti’ director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Rakesh wants to make a film on Mahabharata’s character Suryaputra Karna. They want to tell the story of Mahabharata from Karna’s perspective. Now he has spoken to Shahid Kapoor for that particular project.

It is being described as a dream project of Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and he wanted to make a film on it for a long time. The director has got a producer for his mega budget film. It is being told that Shahid has also agreed to this role, in such a situation, the shooting of the film can be started by the end of the year.

Let us tell you that Karna, popularly known as Suryaputra, was a friend of Duryodhana. In order to maintain friendship, Karna took part in the battle of Mahabharata and Veeragati was received from Arjuna’s arrow. Till now, not much information has been given about the film ‘Mahabharata’. Speaking of workfront, Shahid’s next film is Jersey, in which he will be seen as a cricketer. His father Pankaj Kapoor will also be seen in the lead role along with Shahid Kapoor in the film. Apart from this, Shahid Kapoor’s film Kabir Singh was released in 2019.
