Sukhbir Singh Badal told BJP the real ‘BJP Is Real Tukde Tukde gang’, said Hindus were being instigated against farmers
Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal tore into the ruling BJP over the farmers protest on Tuesday afternoon, accusing his former ally of being “the real tukde-tukde gang” and destroying national unity by maliciously “pushing patriotic Punjab into communal flames” for political gain.
Sukhbir Singh Badal said that BJP has broken national unity into pieces, shamelessly incited Hindus against Muslims and is now doing so against their Sikh brothers. BJP is pushing patriotic Punjab into communal fire.
Recently, Sukhbir Singh Badal had shown aggressive attitude towards rumors of Khalistan’s presence in the movement. He had said that many old women are also involved in this movement. Does she look Khalistani? Is this any way to address the farmers of the country? This is an insult to the farmers.
Badal had said that he dared to call our farmers traitors? Who gave the BJP or anyone else the right to call farmers as traitors? The farmers have dedicated their entire lives for the country and you are calling them traitors? Those who are calling them traitors, they themselves are traitors.
The Akalis highlighted their relationship with the BJP, which ensured peace in Punjab after the bloodshed of the 1980s, and held the Congress responsible for disagreements between Hindus and Sikhs.
Punjab has emerged as the focal point of a nationwide protest – involving thousands of farmers – against farm laws. Several rounds of talks with the Center have failed; Farmers insist that laws should be abolished, but the Center is only ready to amend the problematic sections.
With the BJP struggling to contain the protests (or to take the lead in resolving farmers’ issues), it has been accused of plotting on social media (and by party leaders repeatedly) that the protests were behind the “nation “Anti” and “Khalistani” are forces.
Harsimrat Kaur had resigned
Explain that the agricultural laws are being opposed by the Badal family. Harsimrat Kaur Badal resigned from the post of Union Minister and described the new laws of the Center as a big fraud with the farmers. Not only this, Sukhbir Badal had announced to fight alone in Punjab elections, announcing Akali Dal’s separation from NDA.
Prakash Singh Badal returned the award
In the same month, former Punjab Chief Minister and senior Akali Dal leader Prakash Singh Badal has returned his Padma Vibhushan honor in protest against agricultural laws. Apart from him, Akali Dal leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa had just said to return his Padma Bhushan honor. Let us know that Prakash Singh Badal has been among those leaders of NDA whose Narendra Modi has been taking blessings by touching the stage on public forums. However, now BJP and Akali Dal have come face to face on agricultural laws.
