Supreme court directive for Corona hospitals, take fire NOC within four weeks

New Delhi. A hearing was held on Friday in the Supreme Court on the condition of Corona across the country. During this time, the court issued several guidelines. In the guidelines issued by the court, it has been asked for hospitals to take Fire NOC within the next four weeks. The court said that if hospitals which did not take fire NOC, then immediately take NOC within four weeks. The court directed that the state government take action if hospitals do not take fire NOC in four weeks.

The court said that each state has to appoint a nodal officer who will submit the report to the state. The court has directed all the states to conduct fire safety audit in Kovid-19 dedicated hospitals. The court said that at the same time states will have to follow all the SOPs and guide lines.

The SC has asked the states and union territories to constitute committees to conduct fire safety audit of all hospitals including Kovid-19 care facilities every month. It also said that each state should appoint a nodal officer who will be responsible for fire safety in hospitals. The court said that it will be the responsibility of the Election Commission to follow the guidelines regarding election rallies in the states.
