Treason case on Kangana: Actress Kangana Ranot reached for interrogation at Bandra police station with sister, allegations of objectionable remarks for specific religion
Actress Kangana Ranot, along with her sister Rangoli Chandel, arrived in Mumbai’s Bandra police station to record their statements. A sedition case was registered at the Bandra police station on 17 October on the court’s order against both. Kangana has been summoned three times for questioning, but she did not appear to say that she was involved in brother’s marriage. If there is strong evidence against them, they can also be arrested.
The actress has been accused of splitting the name of a Hindu-Muslim. An FIR was also registered against Kangana in a similar case in Tumkur (Karnataka). He was accused of insulting the farmers.
Earlier on 25 November, the Bombay High Court while hearing a petition filed by Kangana Ranaut and his sister Rangoli Chandel, ordered the duo to appear at the Bandra police station on 8 January.
Justice S. s. Shinde and Justice M.S. Karnik’s bench accepted the plea of advocate Rizwan Siddiqui that the two sisters would report to the Mumbai Police in response to the summons given against them.

The petitioner advocate Sahil Ashraf Ali Syed had said in an application filed in the Bandra court, “Sahil Ashraf Ali Syed has said in his application,” Kangana Ranot has been continuously insulting Bollywood for the past few months by calling it the hub of nepotism and favoriteism . She is creating divisions between Hindu and Muslim artists by tweeting through her official Twitter handle and through a TV interview. “
Syed further alleged, “He has made extremely objectionable tweets, which hurt not only religious sentiments, but also the feelings of many kaligas of the industry.” Sahil has put many tweets of Kangana in front of the court as evidence.

Metropolitan Magistrate of Bandra Jaydev Y Ghule ordered an inquiry against Kangana by registering an FIR under Section 156 (3) of the CRPC. Taking action on this, the police have registered a case against Kangana and her sister in the following sections.
