West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021: BJP has argued in its letter that male paramilitary forces are not able to properly identify women with burqas before going to the booth, so it is necessary to have female paramilitary forces.

Kolkata. For the West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021 assembly elections to be held in West Bengal, the BJP has already geared up. The West Bengal BJP wrote a letter to the Election Commission, demanding the deployment of women paramilitary forces at Muslim-dominated booths. The BJP has argued in its letter that male paramilitary forces are not able to properly identify women with burqas before going to the booth, so it is necessary to have female paramilitary forces. This is the second time in a row that the party has expressed such concern in front of the Election Commission.

Earlier, the party expressed concern over the state of the state in front of the Election Commission in Delhi and demanded action. BJP had demanded action on the political violence in the state, among the leaders going to the Election Commission, BJP MLA Civilized Sachi Dutta says that the condition of Bengal was worse than Kashmir.

Demand to implement Code of Conduct soon

A team of BJP leaders led by Rajya Sabha MP Swapan Das Gupta reached the Election Commission. During this time, he submitted a demand letter to the Election Commission officials for a fair election. In its letter, BJP said that the law and order of the state has deteriorated too much, in such a situation a code of conduct should be implemented there soon. Also, there was a demand for deployment of Central Police Force (CPF) before the elections.
