Kolkata: The problems of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) are continuously increasing ahead of the West Bengal Assembly Election to be held in West Bengal next year and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has received another setback. After Shubhendu Adhikari and Jitendra Tiwari, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Shilabhadra Dutt (Silbhadra Dutta) has resigned from the party.
Shilabhadra Dutt raised questions on Prashant Kishore
MLA from Barrackpore in 24 Parganas district, Shilabhadra Dutt (Silbhadra Dutta) has sent his resignation to Chief Mamata Banerjee. Let us know that Sheelabhadra Dutt has expressed his displeasure many times before on the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) chief Prashant Kishore. He had said that Prashant Kishore’s work is like a marketing company. Work cannot be done in such an environment. Let me tell you that after the results of the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, Prashant Kishore was chosen by Mamata Banerjee to form a political strategy for her party.
Shubendu Adhikari was special for Mamta Banerjee
Please tell that MLA from Nandigram constituency in East Medinipur district, Shubhendu was considered close to officer Mamta Banerjee. He had helped Mamata Banerjee in the anti-land acquisition movement against the Left Front government in Nandigram in 2009, after which TMC came to power in West Bengal in 2011.
Jitendra Tiwari made this charge
Apart from Shubhendu Adhikari, Jitendra Tiwari, MLA from Pandeshwar assembly constituency, also resigned from all party posts. While resigning, he alleged that there is a lot of fund in Kolkata, but funds are not available for the development of Asansol. He said that we were denied the smart city. We were also denied solid waste management. We have been deprived of many development works. It is becoming very difficult to work in the midst of such a situation, so I am resigning from the post of the Chairman of the Administrative Board of Asansol Municipal Corporation.
